Courtney is an accomplished fundraising professional who brings a vast portfolio of experiences to Map the Gaps.  She has successfully led development initiatives for universities, independent schools, health care institutions, nonprofit, and community-based organizations. She has a proven track record of raising millions of dollars for organizations.

Ms. Brady has a passion for the ocean and protecting our natural resources.  She is an avid scuba diver, carries certifications in reef renewal and shark awareness, and holds a master’s degree in Marine Science from Unity College.  She lives in Charleston, SC with her husband, Matt, their two daughters, Izzy and Lillie, and their two dogs.

Tim is the Chief Information Officer at the Great Lakes Observing System and is responsible for strategy, policy, and development of cyberinfrastructure. He founded Map the Gaps, along with several Nippon-Foundation GEBCO Alum, to expand the scope and scale of the Map the Gaps Symposium, and increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in the ocean mapping community through mapping initiatives. Tim spends his time with Map the Gaps to support projects, deliver the Symposium and grow the non-profit organization.

He’s a busy guy, but when he’s not driving the growth of marine data, technology, and awareness, you can find him enjoying time with his family on the rugged coastline of Vancouver Island.

Tomer is a cofounder and one of the principal directors of Map the Gaps. He is responsible for cultivating new mapping projects, developing strategic relationships and critical thinking on the long term roadmap of the organization. Working closely with the rest of the management team, he is able to help guide the direction of the non-profit, yet able to roll up his sleeves and dive into mapping projects that are changing the face of the global map of our oceans.

Tomer works full-time with Schmidt Ocean Institute, spending long spells at sea supporting oceanographic expeditions globally.

Roxy is the Project Director for the Nippon Foundation / GEBCO Training Program at the Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping/Joint Hydrographic Center (CCOM/JHC) at the University of New Hampshire. Roxy was a founding member of Map the Gaps after co-leading the GEBCO - Nippon Foundation Alumni team to winning the Shell Ocean Discovery XPRIZE grand-prize ($4M) winners.

Roxy volunteers her time to Map the Gaps to help provide the opportunity for all Training Program alumni to connect and share their knowledge, essential for an improved global understanding of our oceans.
